Get accurate temperature readings in seconds with the Haakaa Bath Buddy Thermometer. The thermometer auto-activates in water and switches off 15 seconds after removal to save power. With a simple °C/°F toggle button and a floating design for easy visibility, it’s convenient and reassuring during bath time. 1. Place the thermometer in bath water to activate automatically.
   Alternatively, press any button to turn on for room measurement.

2. After removal from water, the thermometer switches off automatically after 15 seconds. Dry thoroughly after use.

3. Ensure the top battery cover aligns with the protruding port inside the silicone cover for accurate readings.

Please Note:

• The display shows “188” if temperature falls outside the 0–80°C range.

• Do not use or store below 0°C or above 80°C.

Battery Use & Safety

• Keep new and used batteries away from children and pets

• Complies with Reese’s Law (Public Law No. 117-171, 2022) and U.S. CPSC requirements

• Follow battery manufacturer’s instructions for use and disposal

• Use only non-rechargeable LR44 batteries (1.5V); do not mix old/new or different brands

• Ensure correct polarity (+ side facing up)

• Do not short-circuit, recharge, heat, disassemble, or incinerate batteries

• Install/replace batteries by an adult only

• Secure the battery compartment fully before use

• Recycle or dispose of batteries according to local regulations

• Remove batteries if the product will not be used for an extended period

• If rust or leakage occurs, clean the compartment and avoid skin contact

Battery Changing Instructions

1. Use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the battery compartment screw and remove the cover.

2. Insert 2 × LR44 batteries with the “+” side facing up.

3. Push the battery cover in, aligning the protruding ends with matching slots.

4. Slide clockwise to lock and tighten the screw securely.

Note: Check operation after battery replacement. Replace batteries if display remains blank. Remove batteries if not in use for extended periods. Keep small parts out of reach of children and pets.

After use, wipe dry with a soft, clean cloth or shake off excess water and air dry.
Clean the silicone cover regularly. Remove the cover before washing; hand wash in warm soapy water, rinse and dry.
To sterilise the silicone cover only, steam sterilise or boil for 2–3 minutes.
Do NOT sterilise the thermometer unit (including steam or boiling water).
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
