Please allow 1-2 days for dispatch after you have placed your order. We will advise you in the event that your order is delayed. Rural addresses may have longer delivery times. All orders are tracked, but we accept no liability for orders lost in transit.
Will I have to pay customs and import charges?
If there are any, yes. To avoid any unexpected costs, we highly recommend checking your local tariffs and customs charges before you place your order. These can vary from country to country. Haakaa does not accept liability for any taxes or charges that an order may incur upon arrival into any destination.
It is also the customer’s responsibility to ensure that any items purchased are not prohibited or restricted within the delivery destination. We will not refund, replace, or accept responsibility for any costs related to, or resulting from, the importation or confiscation of any part of your order by your country’s authorities.
If your order is sent back to us by your country’s authorities and remains in new, resalable condition when we receive it, we will be able to refund you the value of the order, excluding any postage costs we have incurred.
Should your order not be suitable, we will happily provide an exchange or credit voucher subject to the following conditions;
- Contact is made with Haakaa NZ within 7 days of delivery
- Goods are returned within 14 days of delivery
- The goods need to be in the original condition as purchased
- Returned goods are accompanied with a receipt
The above does not apply to clearance items, which are not returnable. Exchanges are to be at the expense of the customer if exchanged via post or courier. Unfortunately, due to hygiene reasons, we will not accept returns on bras, except if they are faulty.
Breastfeeding items and bottles are not refundable if you change your mind due to hygiene reasons. We cannot exchange any breastfeeding items.
We are not able to provide refunds if you change your mind.
If goods are faulty, we will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act, but proof of purchase is required. Faulty goods must be returned to us as soon as possible. Freight charges will not be borne by you if you are located in New Zealand (North & South Island). If you are located outside New Zealand (North & South Island) and you wish to return faulty goods to us (for repair or otherwise), then, to the fullest extent permitted by law, you will be responsible for the freight and handling charges associated with: (a) returning the goods to us; and (b) delivering any repaired or replacement goods back to you. We will advise you of the freight and handling costs associated with returning repaired or replacement goods to us in such circumstances and the repaired or replacement goods will not be sent to you until you have confirmed that you will pay the freight and handling costs.
